Copying Data from Your Old Computer
ALL of the data for your program is contained in the SDF files in the Databases folder. It is a database that stores all saved measurement charts, your default settings, and any saved styles.
- WTPets8.sdf - Wild Things Pets
- WTD8Charts.sdf - Wild Things Dolls Charts
- WTD8Styles.sdf - Wild Things Dolls Styles
- WTD8Photos.sdf - Wild Things Dolls Photos
To move your measurement charts, saved styles, and saved pattern files and layouts, you will need to copy the data from your old computer to a back up medium such as a CD, thumb drive, or an offsite back up utility such as Carbonite or Crash plan. If you did not back up your data and no longer have access to the old computer, you will not be able to restore the data on your new computer.
- Your program automatically backs up your data each time you exit the program to the DOCUMENTS\WildgingerSoftware folder.
- To restore the back up files, open Windows File Manager or Computer and browse to the DOCUMENTS\WildgingerSoftware folder.
- If you have more than one Wild Ginger Software program, select the appropriate program folder.
- Copy and paste the folders from the back up location into the correct program folder making certain to replace the existing folders and files.
